Week 13
In the mean time, my group hope we can interview one more artist but if couldn' t manage to do it, then we decide to go ahead with just one designer. We will wait till the artist reply. We got reply from the Iranian artist and he agreeed to interview with us. It was a pleasure and. he give us a set of dates to choose. Milda and Wei Yi discussed about it. For our group, I couldn't attend due to personal problems. Mr. Charles explained about how we need to do the video so that we can achieve the contextual studies. Other than that, Mr. Charles told us that our estimated presentation dates will be most probably on Week 17 and pass up the report by Week 18. He also show us the examples of the report so we have the brief idea about it.
Profound Axis
Profound Axis contacted me and told him we can meet him this week. So he told us to meet him on 16 October 2014. Because Milda will be returning to Iran this week, Wei Yi and I will be going to do the interview.Wei Yi prepare the cameras and device for audio recording while I am preparing the questions as I am the interviewer.
Wei Yi and I went to Profound Axis on the 16th and we interview Mr. Ng, the director of Profound Axis. He is nice and friendly and he gave us lots of tips and advises while doing the interview. As in future, I want to be an interior designer, he taught us a lot of things. I learnt a lot from him and he even tell us that we can come to Profound Axis for internship in the future. We learn that what we study now in university is different compared to working as designer. After the interview,I learnt that as a designer in a future my job is to help clients to solve problems by designing something that suite their needs.
After the interview, I realised that i can actually learnt a lot of things through this interview. It was a good experience and a worth time for it.
Other artist
We got a reply from Profound Axis and he agreed to do the interview with us. But duento his busy schedules, we would have to still wait for his reply of when we are going to interview him.
